Ernest Ménard
Our Values
Like most family companies, the Ernest Ménard brand bears the values of its founder of the same name.
A company made to last is a company which brings alive its values and those in the company are their incarnation. It is not a questions of displaying them but of making them grow.
These values are the reference in the daily life of the company staff.
It is through these values that human relationships are formed and client satisfaction is built.
The "Club du Progrès" is the guarantee that these values are observed. This original organisation, the fruit of one of the many trips Ernest Ménard has made to great international companies, brings together all the staff away from their managers to give them an area for free expression. The staff of each company department elect a representative. Each month a meeting is organised in each of the departments, then a meeting with the management enables the requests to be made formal. Each request is dealt with and the management is committed to giving a response, whatever it may be. The desire is to circulate the information transversally and quickly without hindrance from the hierarchy. Everyone is a player in the company.
In the same spirit, all the staff meet each month to review the situation and the managers share the successes and difficulties with their teams. They consider that to move forward together everyone must understand the challenges. It is a question of giving a purpose to the life of each member of staff in the company.
Staying with this desire to share, an annual meeting brings together all the players in France and abroad to review advances in the corporate objective. The aim is to remain coherent in this project which was written with the staff.
A great adventure has to be shared. It is in this spirit that the future of the Ernest Ménard brand is laid out. This is what justifies the company values being respected not only in the human relations within the company but also with the stakeholders surrounding it, whether clients, retail partners, supplier partners or the collectivity.
On this subject of local commitment, the company plays an active part in the life of its region. The managers are conscious of the the responsibility of their company to society.
A common trait in all the decisions taken is that they are always for the long term, the mainstay of a family company. Ernest Ménard often says, "We have built good foundations, now we must enlarge the building".
