Our factory based near Saint-Malo in France is the first guarantee you have in choosing a quality piece of furniture.

Its quality is the responsibility of everyone in the company.  Throughout its production it is the experience and expertise of our staff that make the difference.  Our staff, who are anxious to produce extremely well-made furniture, combine specialist training and experience because wood is a living material which requires the intervention of skilled, talented people.

Upstream we have strong relationships with our supplier partners to guarantee the required level of quality.  It is this relationship of trust built up over the long term that enables us to guarantee the quality of our raw materials.  Every month we communicate with our supplier partners to go forward together to satisfy our clients.

At each stage accredited people (mainly women who have an eye for detail and a very strong feeling for the material) control and validate each piece, each sub-assembly or each piece of furniture.

Something that is unique in the manufacturing world is that the last person to validate and sign for Ernest Ménard brand furniture is independent of the industrial management.  His/her task is to look at it from the point of view of the consumer and only an answer to the following question counts, "Would I buy this furniture myself?".  If the answer is "No", he/she has the power and the duty to refuse the furniture.  It is then up to Production to resolve the points causing dissatisfaction.  When the answer is "Yes" he/she signs the inspection card, attaches our brand mark to the furniture and also the 10-year guarantee certificate.
